Is my license suspended even though the DMV says it isn't?

I recently was pulled over for a DUI at the end of January. The officer took my license and issued me a temporary license. I applied for a job at Enterprise not knowing at the time the status of my license. After the interview and hearing that they would check my driving record I called my lawyer to ask about the status of my license. She said it would show up as my license is suspended according to the DUI first offense law of Georgia. I forgot about the job thinking they wouldn't hire me but they called to offer me the job. I had no clue as to why so I went and picked up a copy of my driving record and it shows that my license is not suspended. By law it should be but it isn't. Right now I have no clue on what legal standing I have as it comes to my driving privileges. I've entered a not guilty plea so far with the Court and have a hearing scheduled for mid May. I start the job Monday which will sometimes require me to drive cars for Enterprise. So does anyone have an idea of what could be going on or have heard of a situation like this one?

Once i was in an car accident that was totally my fault and they gave me 30 days to pay. well i couldn't find the courthouse so i called up there and the told me they didn't have a ticket issued for me in the first place well since i didn't want my license to get suspended i went to the courthouse and discovered that they put the ticket in the wrong name that's why it didn't show up in my report but i paid the ticket anyway because the had my license # and i figured it would catch up to me. so if i were you i would explain the situation with the job it would be allot better than them finding it out.
