I believe this is what the Canadian Feds use as "Enhanced" interrogation methods. They also use methods such as
1) repeated shoulder poking,
2) Repeating "I know you are but what am I?",
3) making you drive them to grandmas house while the keep asking "Are we there yet? Are we there yet?"
4) Making you watch Canadian tv shows like Red Green (ugh)

And they appologize for torturing you the whole time. Sorry about this, eh!

Better yet is flying a jet followed by a jet fighter over the Statue of Liberty simulating the 911 attacks and scaring hundreds of people considered torture?

Well I guess it depends on the person, some people like pain to me it would be torture.
