is ruining form a rent a cop aka security guard againts the law can you go too jail for it? like for them catching u skate boarding at a parking lot or something

NO running from them is not. Yes skateboarding on private property is trespassing particularly if there are signs posted, but even without a sign its private property.
Security can not arrest you, they can detain you if they can catch you until an actual policeman arrives. |

They can detain you and can run you down as you are on the property. I won't bore you with the legalities but they can.
What happens next is they call the police and they can charge you for various things. Even if you are identified as the person that was there it can happen.
If a minor that opens up a whole big can of worms. |

They are not the police and any "power" they have is derived from the statutes regarding citizen arrests. With that said they can call the police and you can be arrested for trespassing. |

Running away from a Security officer/guard is not considered against the law (I do hope they give special police powers to all security guards one day). They can however ask you to leave their property. If you refuse to leave they can detain you until the police arrives. They can then press criminal trespass charges against you, and you'll most likely be banned off their property for life! Most sites allow their security guards to carry handcuffs and pepper spray, so yes they can arrest you!!! If you struggle with them, they can press more charges such as resisting arrest or assualt charges, just like the police does.Remember security guards work for private companies, so you are on private property, which means skateboarding is not allowed. Soon skateboarding will one day be considered a crime. |
