Is the FBI watching you right now?

The FBI has the job of enforcing laws within the country. The CIA has the authority to do it's covert operation usually outside the country. Under the Nazis (Bush administration) the two organizations were doing what they wanted. And because of our miserable leaders in Congress, both organizations not only spied on everyone but they were allowed to do it without a warrant. Now, I don't know if they are now required to do their investigations with a warrant. BUT if you wonder if the FBI is watching, if someone in your family is or was tied to anything that the government thinks is subversive or a threat then they are watching. However, it is a greater chance they are listening especially if cell phones are being used.

Unless you're are a terrorist or some type of other criminal the FBI is not interested in watching you.

I don't know...but if they are...I'd hope they'd pass a message on to our CIC...and here it is..

They can anytime we make a call out of the country. That's an exception to the 4th Amendment and has been later broadened due to the Patriot Act. Other than that, they need to have a warrant to wiretap us. They can do surveillance but would have to be watching from an area that would be a public domain. As for computer internet stuff, when we sign up to use an internet provider, they can get permission from them to see what we are doing. But the main test for the fourth amendment is whether we have a reasonable expectation of privacy, and the internet is so full of holes, we shouldn't have a reasonable expectation of privacy. Maybe for confidential e-mails, but that is something that is becoming more and more commonly litigated because e-mails are relatively new. Phone conversations are considered private when made from one land line to another. Cordless phones and sometimes even cell phones are considered less private because we know people can accidentally get on our frequency and listen in. In what capacity exactly are you asking, where they would be watching us?

No one really knows but its probably the computers of people that are under suspicion besides if you're not doing anything bad that should'nt be a problem

the FBI only has the right to watch someone if they get a warrant and they have to be doing something suspicious to be watched.
