The courts make you perjure yourself every time you testify. You swear to tell the whole truth, but they NEVER want to hear the whole truth. In fact, most courts would hold you in contempt if you try to tell the whole truth. All they want to hear is the shortest answer that satisfies the lawyers question.

Its called the separation between church and state. The 10 Commandments are generally a Christian thing because there are actually 613 commandments. They are known as Mitzvot. Do you want to publish all 613 on the walls? It might get a little crowded.

lol I too believe that is the REAL reason it was taken out of federal building.These people didn't want to see it fly into their faces everyday.But then again most of those people are heartless.So it must be that they want to hurt us that believe in those commandments.....

well its suppose to be separation of church and state in order to keep everything fair. but the whole swear to tell the whole truth on a bible sort of proves that it isn't. as for adultery...they used to punish that by legal means, now so much of it is going on that they can't keep up and stopped trying. too bad cause if a man knew he could go to jail for sleeping around..he might just be faithful to his wife and vice versa

You can't post the Ten Commandments in a courthouse because it promotes one religion, Christianity, over all others. It was a famous court case, McCreary County v. ACLU of Kentucky.
