A couple months ago I started a school schedule at my local college. I talked to my work and they agreed to make a schedule based around my school schedule to allow me to work and go to school. I am in my 3rd month of school and my work decided that it doesn't like the idea of my going to school so it decided to change my schedule back to the original schedule, which would conflict with my college schedule. They are intentionally doing this, and their intention is to either A: make me quit (and forfeiting my unemployment *I think?*) or B: cancel my school schedule to return to work on my old schedule. I was wondering if there was anything that can be done about this, it just seems so wrong to be able to do something like this. Also, I do have a lot of responsibilities (kids, home, wife) and I just would like to complete school but I do not know if i can afford it financially without my job and/or unemployment... Thank you for your help, if you can.

have you tried to look for other work? it seems they are determined to make you quit. It's not right for them to do that either. Although i'm not sure there is much you can do about it. Sorry. |
