Is there any weapon you are allowed to carry on your person in the uk?

I got into trouble with chavs. Dont ask me why they went for me, there chavs thats the only reason i can think of. They chased me and my mates (one had a broken leg!) through a graveyard and they caught up with sum of them. Myself , my mate with the broken leg(I dunno how) and another mate escaped but they caught up with my other friends and then questioned them about who i was. They found out my name, and my school. I go to bk to school tommorow and i remember one of them saying they had a knife and they weren't scared to use it =/. They no what i looke like and everything. Is there anything i can legally carry to defend myself? Please help , i no the self defense laws are more in favour of the attacker here so would i get in trouble if they came and attacked me and i used a weapon to get rid of them? Any help is appreciated ty

Trust me when i say the police dont help you round here, you call them, they come over, you tell them the crime and then they leave and you never see them again. I really think they have no limits. I dont have pepper spray or a gun or a knife. I have a tool shed bits of wood, metal, lighters, gas', bangers etc

No it is illegal to carry anything that is regarded as a weapon. and laws are not in favour of the attacker it is also illegal for them to carry a weapon of any sort .

As for this Bushama saying that our " crime went up like 242% since you outlawed guns". he must be an america. one we've not had a gun culture here so we didn't outlaw guns. So all i can say is remember... Virgina tech, 33 dead... Columbine, 15 dead.... Luby's cafeteria, 24 dead.... Atlanta brokerage 13 dead. Austin texas 18 dead... and there are so many more it would take me all day to name them all. so please don't go criticising others when you can't sort your own problems. we don't have anywhere near the problems the US has.

no a weapon is a weapon full stop!!!! so please do not use one!! BUT a multitool (lethermans) or pen knife are not illegal to carry, if are having a lot of hassel inform the police, most areas have cctv. you dont need to give your name if you do not wish.

you're not allowed to legally carry any weapon, or something that would be considered a weapon. If you are caught carrying a weapon you can be charged for it.

if you believe that this person is carrying a weapon, contact the police and let them know who he is and that you have been threatened, knife crime is high on priority and any information would probably be welcomed.

Sorry my friend but you cannot carry anything that could be considered an offensive weapon. Hotbabe is wrong, any CS or pepper spray is illegal.
Have you ever called the police? Don't bad mouth the police unless you have had personal experience.

pepper spray as long as it is a non flamable spray check the label but you should try deffending yourself without using a weapon and tell your teachers and if you know the name of these thugs report them to the police
