Yes there is. There is no law that prevents you from getting one if your parents don't drive. However, your parents obviously can't be the ones to teach you to drive. You will have to take a drivers-ed class. |

You get a license isn't dependent on your parents having theirs. |

Go to your local DMV and explain your situation. Depending on what state, they should issue you a hardship license! |

Of course! Your parents have no bearing on you getting your license. Most states require some sort of driver's ed course if you're under 18 in order for you to get your license. That can cost up to $400.00. Take driver's ed, get the required amount of driving in (with a relative of parent of a friend in your case) and apply for your license!
Google your state's Department of Motor Vehicle website and see what the rules are in your state...
good luck! |

It does not matter that your parents don't drive . |

Your school should have some sort of driver education. If it does, talk to the instructor and see if he/she can help you in getting your license. If your school does not, see if you can go to these 'Learn to Drive' schools such as Taggart.
Good luck. |

as long as you know someone who has a licenses that will ride with you to practice, you are good to go. I believe they have to be at least 25. Check the rules in your state. |

Sure, especially if you live in a state that allows it. Usually agricultural states allow 14 year-olds to glean a license. Usually you take a drivers ed course in HS and that usually waives the requirement for testing.
In my state, if you are 16 you are required to pass a drivers ed course to even get a license!
I think most laws that have a requirement of someone being in the vehicle with a license do not require it to be your parents! |

Yes, you getting YOUR licenses has nothing to do with them having theirs. You will need to go to driving school of course. On the test in order to get your licenses you have to of been through school and had so many hours in a car with a parent or guardian. All you need is to go through driving school and have someone that is at least 21 years old show you how to drive. why dont you ask an aunt or uncle or older cousin to show you how to drive. after driving classes it will be easier. good luck. |

Many schools have driver's ed programs so you can learn to drive. Also, if you have a friend that is over the age of 18 and has their license, then you can practice driving with them when you have your permit. You will want enough driving practice while you have your permit before you take the actual driving test, or you might not pass. |

Well., if another gaurdian of urs has there license, they can sign it for you. |

all they need to do is sign the application at the bottom for you to get your license. and then you will need a licensed driver to be there for you for your driving test. |

It doesn't matter if your parents have theirs or not. At 16, you are eligible for a drivers' license if you pass the requirements. |

Yes, if you have a learners permit you can drive aslong as the other person in the car has a full liscence. it does not have to be your parents. |

Go to class and get you certificate and then you go to the DMV and show them that. they will allow you to take the test. |

Getting your license has nothing to do if your parents have one or not. But your parents do have to be there when you get it. They have to sign some papers and such. |
