yes you could get In a lot of trouble for liying to get a job is like appling for a hospital you put that you are a Doctor and then you kill the poor person because you dont have those skills and then you become a killer and so on and even if you don't kill the poor person you still have the other outcome but worst.... .................Good luck to ya... |

It's called fraud and the employer in question will most likely report it. When I catch an applicant lying about their education or work history, I light them up like a Christmas tree. |

Every appointment letter clearly says that if they found that you have misdeclared and given false details, you are liable for termination. When you join the job, you sign the duplicate copy of the letter towars acceptance of the terms and conditions. |

Oh yes! Usually they will ask on every job application if you have been honest in your answers. You can be put in jail if you lie and are caught. There is no "perfect" employee. Be upfront with your potential employer about your strengths AND weaknesses. They will appreciate your honesty. |
