Meaning this person suscribed me to a magazine without my consent. It was mailed to me now i have to pay.

It's fraud. If they impersonated you to do it, then I'd say it's identify fraud. |

If they paid for it, no. I have purchased mag subscriptions for family and friends for bdays, xmas, etc. or just cuz once cuz my sis kept buying those Parenting magazines. No I didn't ask their permission- but as long as it's paid for no it's not identity theft. If they choose to send you the bill/bill me later then yes there's an issue. If you truly don't want the mag just call the company and tell them- they won't care trust me they'll be making money. Or give the mags away to local hospitals, nursing homes, or doc offices. We love these donations. |
