Is this harassment and what can i do about it?

my soon to be ex husband has a girlfriend (one that he has been with for a year ever since i found out i was pregnant and we seperated). well now we are talking about getting back together and he says they arent together anymore and she lives like 5 hours away now, but she keeps sending me emails and stuff saying things like "i got you where i want you" and keeps calling my cell phone from a restricted number. is this harassment and what can i do about getting her to stop.

While I can't tell you whether this is harassment or not (personally, I would say it is, but that's just my opinion), I might be able to give you a few tips. Like one person said, block the person's email address/IP address. Then they can't email you. That takes care of one problem right there.

In regards to the calling your phone from a restricted number thing, you can stop answering her calls. If she continues to call you from the restricted number and you don't pick up, you might be able to get the police involved. I know that where I'm from, there's a law against calling a person's telephone just for the sake of calling it (what I mean by that is without any intent to have a normal conversation... basically, just calling it to make it ring)... something like "calling a phone to make it ring with intent to annoy" or something like that. Look at your state laws (you should be able to google them) and see if there's a law like that. If you can get the phone company to release the records (which may be difficult to do, depending on who your provider is... I think it generally requires a subpoena) and you can prove it's her, you may be able to legally ban her from calling you (this is just a guess, though. No guarantees) If that doesn't work, or isn't possible, you can go to your service provider and change your phone number. I know it's kind of a hassle, but it'll be worth it in the long run.

Long answer short, the best thing to do right now is block her email/IP address and if need be, change your cell phone number.

unless she makes an explicit threat, or interferes with your business or with your employment, there isn't a lot that you can do, except change your phone number and block her email address/IP address.

Yes it is harassment - go to the police station and file charges.
