Is this illegal?! Can we get in trouble for this?

If my boyfriend is told not to see me by his parents, but he does anyway. Like what if he trys to run away and move in at my mother house? What if he just up and leaves to come stay with my mother, would this be illegal if it were against his parents wishes? He is 17 and lives in Florida.
I would never say this is the right thing to do but in this case it seems to be the only way. By the way my mother offered to let him live with her?

It is ILLEGAL at 17 and if your mother allows him to stay at her house, she could get arrested.

Wait until he is 18 then he can go and live where he wants legally

Jay
Your mother cannot lawfully offer him a place to live. She could charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor by keeping him away from his parents.

It's illegal until he's 18. His parents have control over everything he does until he's 18. You can get in trouble unless his mother is okay with this which she is not.

yes, it is illegal in florida and most other states. he would have to wait until he is 18

they could report him missing and yes it would be illegal but once hes 18 he can do what he wants!!

He would be a runaway and your mother could get in trouble for holding him.

Mark
if there is more reasoning for this then child services can jump in. his parents could put him up for adoption and your mother could take him but i see that so highly unlikely.
