YES, you MUST report this to your boss immediately. Forgery is ILLEGAL no matter what. Plus, you MUST protect yourself. Don't let them get away with it. Your name AND reputation is at stake. They should know better. |

That is serious. If he is forging your signature on a document like this, I would bring it to his attention and his boss' attention. Typically, when someone signs a letter or report for someone else, they will sign your name in script then put their initials aside of it to indicate that you did not physically sign the report. This often happens where I work as my name is put on letters, and the secretary will sign my name and put her initials aside of it. In this case, I wrote the letter, which would be like you filling out the report. |

Take the info immediately to the top manager! He may be embezzling and using your name! The reason more than one person has to cash out at the end of the night is for checks and balances. He's up to no good! |

Ok, try not to over-react. He MIGHT have been doing this just to save time, not with any more sinister intent. However, whatever the reason behind it, it's still forgery and it's wrong. You have 2 options here. Firstly, you could talk to him, tell him that you have realised what he's up to, and insist that he takes your name off all these forms. If he refuses to do so, then he will leave you no choice but to go to his superior. Alternatively, if knowing his character, you really think he's up to no good, then telling him what you have noticed may cause him to turn nasty. In this case, it may be better and safer to just contact his superior directly and tell the area manager what you have found. No-one has the right to expect you to cover up for (potentially) criminal activity, so don't just put up with it. Whichever option you choose - good luck. |

Falsifying any official documents is illegal and forgery is a crime. If you are concerned check your companies grievance procedure and contact your HR department. |

Yes. he should not be signing your name to something, i don't think it makes you responsible for it as its him forging your name but you would have to prove this if it came to the worse. so say something about it, if you don't want him to get into trouble then ask him what he means by it and tell him to stop. if he will not then go above him and report it. but please be careful as if he is stealing money he will not want this to get out.. i don't know the person but people have ended up dead for a lot less.. |

You have a responsibility to let management know and it may cost you your job but it's better than jail right?

This is EXTREMELY serious. There's no reason for him to forge your name unless he's skimming and wants you to take the fall.
Contact the supervisor IMMEDIATELY.
Good luck. |

That is extremely serious and he can be prosecuted for it. I would report him because if he is forging your name, then he can very easily blame you for stealing from the company. Anyone that forges a name without consent, and even then it isn't legal without a power of attorney, is agains the law, period. |

You should not permit anyone to sign your name for you. He has committed forgery. It is YOUR responsibility to count your own cash tills, with your manager if that is policy, and sign your own name. Don't just let somebody else do it. |

I discovered that my supervisor was signing my name on various petty cash invoices. I reported my supervisor to human resources department and filed an internal grievance. Shorty afterwards, she requested to have a meeting with me. She tape recorded the meeting. During the meeting, she admitted to signing my name on the invoices without my permisson but claims that she wasn't forging my signatures. After the conversation my supervisor informed me that she received three complaints on me that morning. I live and work in the state of california. Can my supervisor sign my name without my permisson on any paperwork? |
