I would say that it is highly unlikely that Pres. obama would be sending out a text message of that kind...or encouraging someone else to do it. The media would kill him for it. It is more likely from someone who wants to see marijuana legalized and figures if he can get a million signatures to do so he may have a chance to get it done.

look at the videos and reports on that number google it and you will find many webpages just for legalizing marijuana. no obama did not send out a personal text to get it started it is a group of people who are making a petition to bring to the legislatures in trying to pass a bill to legalize marijuana.. it is not a hoax just a try at getting people opinions on the matter by voting you are helping to cut back on billions of dollars that are spent on petty dealers and smokers that are behind bars. overpopulating are jails and prisons, in stead of cops pulling people over for weed they can spend more time finding rapist and killers that are doing something horrable. and not harassing the small time smoker down the street.. this is a good thing and will help calm down the recession we are in that money can go to better things like are schools more job openings, gas, food whatever it needs to go

considering well over 1 million people voted to legalize medicinal marijuana in California back in the day, i don't think the phone vote is going to tip the scales... definitely a hoax, but hey, it's your dime
