I got pulled over and asked for my id and insurance, he then left to check my info and came back and had this conversation with me:
officer: Did you know you have a warrant from Reno, Nevada?
me: No, but I'v never been to Reno in my life
officer:really, whats used to be your last name?
me: Perla Mejorado-Chacon and now that im married is Perla LeClair, why?
officer: Mejorado huh, Are you legal?
Me:You mean a U.S. citizen? Yes!
officer: Do you have your own social security number?
Me: Yes
officer: Tell me what your social security number is?
Me:###_##-####
officer: Are you sure its your own and not somebody else?
Me: Of course!
officer: Do you have anything with you that has your social on it?
Me: not with me but at home
officer: Well, You should start carrying your social with you so you can prove that it belongs to you.
Me: why? And why are you asking?
officer: Because to me it seems like this is not your social security number.
Me: That can't be.
officer: here is your license and info back, but i am going to give you a ticket because of your registration but from now on you should have some kind of proof of your social security number.
Me: That's perfectly fine, but how about that warrant mentioned?
officer: I'm just not going to get into it right now, here is your ticket and you can now go.
