It is best to use a warranty deed instead of a quitclaim deed?

I own my condo outright and will be transferring it into my trust. Sorry I did not find a classification to put this.

You cannot use a warranty deed....I know you can quickclaim it to a person but I am not sure about a trust...

You use a Deed not a Quitclaim Deed, you're deeding the interest of real property.

I don't think it matters.

The difference is, a quitclaim deeds says "I am giving you any interest I may have in this property, If own it I'm giving it to you" buty ou are not promising you own it.

A warranty deeds says "I am giving you this property and you can sue me if I don't own it". Since you are effectively giving the property to yourself, it doesn't reallly matter. I doubt you as trustee will sue you as an individual. Most people seem to use Quitclaim Deeds lately. Warranty Deeds make it easier to get title insurance, I think.
