Juvenile Diversion Program and Drug Test?

I have recently been asked to attend a Juvenile Diversion and Education Program in regards to the charge of " 11357 HS/Poisson Marijuana ". Will a drug test be involved with the program? I need to know if I should go to court or enroll in a diversion program. Does anyone have experience with this? Any information would be helpful. Thank you!

I'm in Cali too and a while back I got caught with my bros oxycontin, he called the cops on me and they showed up without any heads up, I just turned 18 too, so I went to jail and got let off with a PC1000 drug diversionm ,they will drug test you once in the beggining which doesnt matter if you come up positive the first time, and for me they told me I would be getting dt a few times one beggining middle and end, which never happened after the first time, so I stayed clean all that time for nothing, it was a scare tactic, but I have been clean ever since
either way both choices can be very costly
if you go to the program drug testing will depend on where you go and whos your counselor I went to the high road program and it was very relaxed there, some of the counselors were cool because they themselves know what its like from previous mistakes of their own |

Drug testing will most likely be ordered if you take the diversion program or go to court. Part of a sentence for possession would likely be probation and the probation would include random drug tests.
Take diversion if you can get it, it is a better deal in the end. |

drug testing will always be apart of probation if you got caught with drugs your better off with the diversion program cause it will get rid of your felony if this is your first offense |
