Lawyer SCREWED US.....WTF?

ok....my husband had a ticket for selling tobacco to a minor which we were trying to fight and get dismissed...it was already a warrant and my husband was arrested and bonded out....we were referred to an attorney which we hired and he totally messed things up

we hired the guy after my husband was released and today we receive a letter from the court saying he missed the court date and the bond has been forfeited and a warrant has been reissued.......WTF.......the attorney never sent in a letter of representation...never let us know a court date had been issued and now no one wants to call me back!!!

will the court understand this was a mistake caused by the lawyer?? i feel like now my husband is in even more trouble then when he started and its not fair

Chances are the Court will understand. Also, you should demand your money back and report the attorney to the bar.
