I would like to ask about the marriage arranged by parents in childhood: if a man has been married in his childhood, but has never taken the girl as his wife when he got the age of marriage ability, and wants to marry now at the age above 21 to another woman? Is the child marriage still legal even if it is not registratered? What one can do to make or proove that void?

Child marriage is illegal in India no doubt about this but still this not void marriage but only voidable marriage which requires proper court order to declare it null & void. Contact some Indian lawyer who will explain all this in details to you. |

Child marriage is illegal in India and the parents who arrange child marriages are liable for punishment under the act. When child marriage is not legal it is void only. |

no the child marriage is NOT legally accepted .
no need to prove it . if anyone admitted to organising that child marriage , he/she can be put behind bars . so , i doubt anyone will come forward as witness in support of the earlier "marriage " . anyway , even if they do come forward ,it is of no use . child marriage is illegal in india . |
