I received a "fake ticket" in the mail, the one seeing if you will admit guilt stating who the driver is. I know I do not have to respond to this because it says do not contact the court doesn't have the court address or phone number on it.
I heard that the statute of limitations is that you must receive the real ticket in California within 15 days but that was from an unreliable source not sure if its true. and would the 15 days be business days, or just actual days and does it have to be postmarked by the 15th day or in my procession.

None of the above.. Red light tickets are easy to deny though. As long as you have nothing showing on the picture that can identify you absolutely (ie tatoo, ring, missing limbs etc), there is reasonable doubt, and you're off the hook. Easiest way to avoid these... put your visor down when passing through known intersections. |
