I think the answer is that as long as you are in Mexican water then yes you can drink. If i was you i would try my best to find out because i would want to drink if i was there.

Since the drinking age in America is 21, I would assume drinking age on the ship would be the same. But I'd ask about the drinking policies and age on the ship just to be sure. ;)

Usually on the ship they will hold you to the standard of being 21. Yet, once you hit Mexico.... no drinking age that I have ever seen enforced.

I actually think the ship requires 21 yrs of age, check the cruise line website it will tell you.

yes, when you cross over into mexican territory waters their law goes into effect...and their law is 18

Call your cruise line and ask them, when in international waters
just about anything goes as far as drinking & gambling.

U can in Mexico, as for the ship Id call and ask. They would know for sure.

I think 18 should be legal age anyway. If your old enough to give your life for your country you should be able to drink a beer

if u have an older person then yea, i mean as long as ur in usa all rules apply, but in mexico its party time!!!!

so, my suggest is you should try to have drink while you're on the ship.
if there is a rule says "UNDER 21 NOT WILL BE ALLOWED TO DRINK", nah, try it in the other place but still on the ship.
so many times and so many places, but you can find a place to drink?

Actually on the ship it depends where the ship is listed out of. A lot of other countries have temperance ages lower then the U.S. Additionally, in international waters, its up to the actual vessel.

In the US the legal drinking age is 21 and that's on land or in US waters. So on the ship no, maybe when you cross into Mexican waters you can. Call the travel agency or cruise line and ask to be sure.

Even if it is true, I will not do it, because it may led me into continuing to do drink when i am back home. Just be patient and wait till you turn 21. Have a blessed day.

The legal drinking age on board is based on the legal drinking age in the country where the ship is registered

The legal drinking age IN Mexico is 18. The laws/rules of the cruise ship will coincide with the port of call, in this case, America. You cannot drink on the ship, but can once you hit Mexico.

if its an american ship then the drinking age would still be 21... canada is 19 and in europe its 14 or 16
