Legalise all drugs!
That will cut out burglaries over night and seriously reduce crime!
Dish out the drugs to whatever dopeheads want it on the NHS - we then will know who they are and will be able to control them! |

It was made illegal here in a conspiracy to enrichen the likes of the DuPonts, who had to give guarantees that they could make synthetics that would do the same job as hemp oil in industry. During colonial times, in some colonies it was mandatory to grow hemp. Hemp has saved civilzations from starvation, as the seeds are natures most perfect food. Instead of using corn for ethanol, we could use hemp and produce a lot more per acre than corn or any other biomass plant. It's effects and damage are much less than alcohol. The worst effect it has is it makes you play video games more than you should. |

I was reading an article in the Observer abnout this yesterday, and have to admit I'm utterly confused.
On the one hand I've always been of the view that if something doesn't harm others then you should be able to do it, so from that point of view (given that most folks smoke weed without harming others) I'd allow it.
But then it is also associated with causing/exacerbating (sometimes serious) mental health problems, and also some folks in such a state have harmed others when on weed.
So I'm confused a bit.
But my answer would be that I guess it'd be good if they allowed it like they do in Holland, only in specifically-designated places like dope-cafes, and only allowed milder strains of weed (not 'skunk' which is becoming much more widespread in Britain, is stronger than the weed we previously got, and thus more readily prompts mental health problems etc.). |
