ok so me and my friend wanted to unwind some copper (very thin) and we attached it to a fire hydrate and it broke so we drove away and he lives in this neighbor hood so we went back to his house and drove by it and this guy pulled in front of us and wrote down the license plate and said his kid got cut cause of it and he asked if we were the ones and my friend said yes by and hes gonna call the cops, my friend is 16 and im 16 he just got his license and he want to keep it, so can we get in trouble???? plz help

I don't think you told us enough about what happened for anyone to tell you whether you are at fault for the man's kid getting injured. The other people answering seem too eager to tell someone what they did was wrong. Maybe you could tell us with more detail what you did with the wire.
