My husband has been detained by ICE?

I was talking to him on the phone and he said Immigration was pulling him over,I heard the officers speak to him when he got to the car and then I was hung up on. I called back and I heard the officer say who is that my husband said my wife and once again I was hung up on. I have no idea where my husband is, he was coming to Florida from Texas but I'm not sure if he is in Tx or La. I have called numerous facilities and no one has him. I don't know what to do, it has been 24 hours since I have heard from my husband. If anybody has any useful information it will be greatly appreciated. If ICE has him when will he ba able to call? How long does it take to get processed? When will they contact the spouse? Does he have any chance of NOT being deported? How do I get into contact with someone who can help me find him?

That is a strange situation. Since you ask about deportation I assume he is illegal.Immigration pulling him over? Seems more likely that a State police agency would be pulling him over if he was on the interstate. If that was the case it would be the local jail for driving without a license. That would not necessarily mean immigration would get him. Many illegals are not turned over to or accepted by immigration. Many are released when they are. If he is going to fight deportation he will be allowed to call someone. Usually within 24 hr.but almost certainly within 72. If he is deported his personal property will be returned to him. He would be able to call then.

If he is an Illegal...he is in an INS lockup
awaiting Deportation...End of Story...

They do not have to notify anyone...
