Depends.
If its just a smack then its ok. Thats usually how you punish children...
But if its more like a savage beating in which you are actually seriously injured, then it is against the law. |

it depends on if it is just for discipline or if it is just excessive....you say that it's just for stupid stuff also sometimes, i don't really know the situation, but maybe she doesn't see it as stupid...
if you do what she tells you, but she still finds excuses to hit you. talk to a close teacher, a friend's mom, or a church leader...you could also pray. |

well im not gonna say its fake but its not against the law to dicipline ur children the way it must be done..but i know lots of parents use belts.its.. easiest......i wouldnt say its against the law..and if ui were u id deal with it..because u may think u have it bad..but u will see if u report her and u get taken away u will go under foster care which aint great kid............ |

Yes, it is against the law.
Your mom has uncontrolled anger. Monday at school, make an appointment with your Guidance Counselor and tell him/her about this. Tell your counselor that you want to get some help for your mom and for yourself. This will not go unanswered. School counselors are there to help you. Please trust someone with this. I hope you and your mom can get the assistance needed. |

Yes...it is child abuse....tell your Mom the next time she hits you with a belt that your will call the police....and then do it for your safety and security. Show this to your Mom....she will be arrested for child abuse and will suffer the consequences. |

absolutley and you should talk to your guidance counselor at school and let them know what is happening. Is she mentally ill or on drugs or alcohol or something? Where is your Dad? YOu have to try to get some help for you first, and then for her. It is terrible to hit your children with anything. I was beaten with everything imaginable while I was growing up by a step-father. I have 3 grown daughters now and they all have children and I stopped the legacy of hitting with me. I never hit my girls and they don''t hit their children either. I have so much sympathy and compassion for you and if you can summon up the courage to talk to someone about it ... perhaps your life could get better and your mom could get some professional help |

If its done to where it leaves bruises then yes.But if not they can't stop her from punishing you if you are doing something wrong.Go to a teacher or counseler thru school and they will help you.Do you have siblings? |
