how old do you have to be to take a restraining order off of someone? My mom put a restraining order against my girlfriend cause she hates her, and now i'm not able to see her or talk to her. I'm 17 right now.

i live in washington. and the restraining order is for me against my girlfriend. my girlfriend didnt do anything wrong, she is always nice to my mom.

age is irrelevant, if she got a restraining order it's based on your GF's behavior. Now is this an order that restricts your GF from approaching or contacting your mother, or you? If she got it relevant to you it can be cancelled when you are 18; I'm not sure what basis in law she used, maybe custodial interference?
When you are 18 you can go where you like and see her, since your mother can't get an order to prevent the GF from seeing you, only you can do that. But if the order tells her not o contact you, you must go to the court that issued it and ask the judge to revoke the order when you are 18, don't just ignore it. |

In order to remove the TRO you will have to be 18. However if you are living at your mom's she (gf) can not go there |
