My sentencing date is coming up for a fraud conviction. Can a sentencing date be adjourned to a latter date.?

As long as I have the restitution amount by sentencing, they will drop it from a felony to a misdemeanor. I just need a little more time. So my question is, can a sentencing date be adjourned to a later date.

Yes it can if you have an attorney request a later date for you. I f you are not being represented by an attorney then you have to discuss the matter with the court clerk who can direct you to the proper persons that can handle the matter for you.
