Hopefully a long sentence. That's your son. If he can do that to your car, his own mother, I don't want him in my society. |

Longer the better - and throw away the key - NO sympathy here.
Your son is a scumbag - what if he had killed someone or worse - a child.
Pack his bags for when he gets out - then move! |

A fine parenting example to all of us.
I do not think he will get long at court, just long in prison. |

LEYTON IS FIVE NOT OUT

I would imagine that such an offence would possibly carry a custodial sentence, however given how soft our judicial system is, he'll probably just get a slap on the wrist. |

Depends on if it is a first offence or not and his age. Might get community service if it is his first offence. |

A Community Community Punishment & Rehabilitation Order?
They might even defer that.
No one gets punished nowadays, it's why there is so much crime.

He certainly won't be going home soon if the judge has any sense !
The MAXIMUM sentence just for the charge of arson - is up to LIFE imprisonment. Add in all the other charges too - I'd say he'll be DAMN lucky to get less than five years !
If I was the judge - I'd have him jailed for as long as possible ! Maybe you should have taught him the value of property, and sticking to the law better ! He deserves EVERY DAY of the sentence he'll get ! |

what he needs is a good hiding,he is typical of the thugs on our streets these days i hope he gets ten years, but seeing what the stupid judges do here not having to put up with the idiots as we do being as they live in cloud cuckoo land and the police are as much use as a chocolate fireguard,i walked through the town centre here yesterday and witnessed a gang of louts causing mayhem, where were the, nowhere to be seen, little crimes not dealt with encourage cretins to become major criminals |

if it were up to me it would be ten years hard labour. but i wouldn't worry, your adorable little brat will no doubt be surrounded by do gooders who will fawn all over him and blame society. so he'll be out terrorising people and stealing cars again within a few weeks.....nice to see that the boy has the sense to line himself up with a nice career. you must be so proud. |

12 months and do 6. It's not the sentence he should be worried about. It's the lads that will want to rape him. |

first is this his first offence? second is he pleading guilty? has he got a solicitor? no insurance is six points ban and a fine criminal damage is a conditional discharge and compensation and a fine. but arson that serious offence if that was a house could of get life! but as only a car and no one in. and it was you car. if he pleads guilty he get less sentence from the court. if plead not guilty and found guilty then the sentence is doubled as you waisted there time? like to speak to you in more detail! like magistrate court max sentence on this offence is 12 months prison and u only do six out of that. if crown they can give you years. if first offence and he owns up he should walk a way worst be tagging and probation or community service good luck. tell him don't do it again! from a reformed silly person lol |
