No. The best you could hope for is for a cancellation fee to be waived if you ever need to cancel an appointment without the required notice. More as a courtesy than anything. |

That sounds a bit silly, no offence just because your dentist cancelled a appointment. Your probably just angry, calm yourself by doing yoga or taking a run :P |

No way. And besides that, you should lighten up a little. He/She probably had a family emergency. Haven't we all had one of those? You should be more understanding. |

sue sue sue, geez!!!! Everyone wants to "get back" at anything they do not agree with by taking legal action. Perhaps, just perhaps your Dentist had something, even an emergency, come up. Be a mite more tolerant, everyone will thank you for it. |

Not likely. He probably has good reason. Bet you wouldn't want him to charge you if you had to cancel due to an emergency. |

Seriously?!? Are you fishing for a way to file a lawsuit on someone? No, you cannot take legal action. wow. |

HAHAHA no.... he may have gotten somthing serious, like some one who needed an emegency root canal. You can just SUE anyone, expecialy in that profesion, no one will take you after that. You are the kind of person that would sue mcdonalds be cause you burned your self on hot coffee or got fat, get over it. things change. |
|

Boo
 |
You must have far too much money if you can afford a lawyer to even consider this lawsuit. |
|

artsyfartsy

You can't be serious?? Look for another dentist if you want, but you have no legal recourse and should be ashamed for even asking- I can't even imagine what you think that would accomplish. |

Sure you can take legal action against him (as you can take legal action against anyone for any reason). What is your chance of you winning? My guess is very little. Most likely it will be dismissed. |

Small claims would not take the case because you did not have loss of property (money, etc.), ie. you prepaid for services then they were not rendered.
You could try a civil suit but no lawyer would take it and the court would call it a "frivolous lawsuit", even with a delay in your treatment (its not life threatening).
You can talk to the ADA and see how they feel about it.
It is best, if you are that offended by it, to leave him and find another and dont bother trying to get back at him for it. |
