First off, ignoring grammar and spelling does not make you look cool, it makes you like a little kid who thinks he's cool. I find it hard to believe you don't know that really is spelled with an A and two L's or that "peeps" are actually little marshmellow ducks.

That said, rapists, child molesters, and kidnappers are arrested and charged with the appropriate crime. When people are let out on bail, it does not erase the charges against them. It lets them return home while awaiting trial. The bail money serves as collateral to assure their appearance in court. While it may seem wrong to let criminals out onto the streets, they are not considered criminals until they are convicted. Innocent people are arrested all the time. The system of bail is designed to prevent innocent people spending months in jail awaiting the trail that will prove their innocence. It also provides an incentive for prosecutors to try the suspect in a timely manner rather than delaying the trial to keep them locked up.

People should not be put to death for the crimes you mentioned becaue the legal system is not infallible, and even if it were, the death penalty is far to harsh a punishment for these crimes. Personally, I think that castration is a more appropraite punishment for rapists and child molesters.

Were HUMANS we make mistakes. Dont you think it's cruel to kill someone for kidnapping. Seriously think it out,
there are many people that dont get caught and so what all they did was escape a few years in prison,
but if they knew they would die from being convicted,
who could or shall I say Would acually confess if they knew that after confessing they would die,

We all need to address this to our senators and force them to make laws with harsher punishments for these people. It is getting out of control since many go free after a few years. Seems rehab is not working in prisons for these offenders so, go with life sentences.

Straight to death, no question. THere are too many freaks out there and too many other people to worry about. I have no sympathy for molesters. Who cares if we kill them anyway?

I don't agree with the death penalty : I would rather let the Big Guy upstairs decide on their fate once they die of natural death.

I mean come on....quite a few states in the US have the death penalty....is it a deterrent ??? does not look like it.
Why are other countries a lot more peaceful and do not have such a high level of crime and yet do not have the death penalty either !
Why do some countries have the death penalty (many countries in Asia) and almost nobody gets killed ???

If that could be answered in one word : that person would get the Nobel Prize !

Yes, but i also believe that they should be tortured like the victims were(meaning whatever they did to the person, that should be their punishment)

I'm all for forcing them to colonize the moon. That way, you aren't putting them to death so the opponents of the death penalty won't get up in arms. They are out of society so the rest of us can sleep easier. Give them the ability to grow their own food, make goods to sell back on Earth (there's a lot you can do with reduced gravity), etc. Having to survive in such a hostile environment would teach them to better fit into society if they were ever allowed to come back.

no they shouldnt die. they should get tortured for like a really really really really long time. then less people will be willing to risk raping someone. i think everyone who commits a serious crime should be tortured for like ever. be very strict about it. then i mean who would take the risk and commit a crime? if you disagree with me, then be thankful i dont rule the world
(i edited my previous post cuz this is actually what i think but i was lost when i typed the first one. not many people care if htey die, but then if they had to suffer the rest of their lives, then they would care. thatz why the death penalty isnt that effective)

I believe that anyone should have the chance to reabilitate and this process should be controled...may be death penalty is too extreme for them, may be some of them are really sick so you have to treat them under supervision. obviously the victims should know what is going to happen at any time and take a vote in the decitions of the agressor.
