Well my husband is on child support and went to court for visitation. His son's mother lied about of alot of things, so she could kick my husband out of his son life completely. Well everything went in her favor, and he was granted a few hours of supervised visitation every other weekend. She lets him see his son when she gets ready. He has been paying child support since the court order.Now she tells him that he can't see his son until he gives her more money. He wants to be able to pick his son up so that he can stay with us every other weekend and so that he can get to know my husband side of the family. He hardly sees his son now because of his son mother not going along with court order. So what would happen if we took her back to court and what can we do so that my husband can get the visitation that he deserves to have with his son. If this has happened to you, what did you do and what happened and any advice that you can give us?

first she cant get anymore money unless he makes more money..
also if you can prove she is lying.. he can have the court order changed..
also if she is preventing him from seeing his son by making excuses she also could be held in contempt of court.. by not following court ordered visits |

Visitation and child support are separate issues.
Your husband should have had an attorney at the initial trial. Now, he needs an attorney to fix problems the child's mother is presenting.
Failure to comply with the Court's order, either concerning visitation or child support, could result in a finding of contempt of court, with days or weeks or months in jail.
Do NOT attempt to resolve these complex and difficult matters without an attorney. The results are too important not to have every resource necessary to win. |
