Not savings someone's life is not the same as killing them?

you agree? or not? whats ur opinion when that saving puts your life and others you love in jeopardy?

Number 1 priority is your own personal safety--ALWAYS. You are no good to anyone if you enter an unsafe situation and become a victim.

I didn't kill a person if I made the decision not to help to protect myself or others...the illness or situation that wounded them did. Could I have improved their chances for living? Perhaps, but there is no guarantee that anything I do would save a life.

For example...if you're on the 8th floor of a burning building and I don't have the proper equipment to protect myself in order to retrieve you...you're probably going to die as I watch, but I didn't kill you, the fire did. If I know you have a contagious disease and you have a heart attack, I will do only a modified CPR on you if I am going to be exposed to transmission of your disease because I don't have a shield.

If you have the ability to save a person's life - even if it's just calling for help - and you refuse to then you can be charged with murder. The only exception to this rule is if the person refuses to be helped.
