i hired an atty the day that it was supposed to happen around the 8th he hasnt gotten ahold of me yet when i originally went in to talk to him for the consultation, i only was in with him a 1/2 hr and only got to tell him the basics. i've left 2 messages for him. i didnt get to tell him names of witnesses on my side or anything shouldnt he have tried to contact me already? he was supposed to go check out the evidence but i dont even know if he did yet. now tues i have to go to court for a accident i was in as a witness against the guy who hit me so the only day he'd have to talk to me is mond. if he doesnt should i expect him to file for continuance again?

ive been told he's a good atty and i actually had an uncle that used him and was happy, i just think he could've/should've called me back and met with me to give him specific details.

Although it would've been polite and professional for him to call you back when you've tried to contact him, a lot of lawyers won't after a little while. They are very busy.
Also, I know that your uncle had a good experience with this lawyer, but ask him if he's had this same problem.
I think you should definitely have him file for continuance again, as it seems like he's not all that ready. |
