On probation what would happen if they found drugs on your system...?

i was just kinda thinking this, this morning. what would happen if someone was on probation for like i dont know having weed on you and your 18 or somthing. well what would happen if you went to amsterdam and smoked pot legaly and came back and drug tested you? would you get in trouble if you said i went to amstardam? like if you showed the tickets and all? i was just randomly thinking that this morning.

First of all, your probation probably would not allow you to fly to Amsterdam.

But if you could, and the probation order requires you to be drug free, it means DRUG FREE, not 'only a little while in Amsterdam'.

Back to jail for this hypothetical world traveler.

I do not know any state where you can leave the country while you are on probation. But in the answer to your question yes you will get in trouble both for having drugs in your system and for leaving the country. If marijuana is so vital to your existance you cannot keep from smoking it even if it means you might end up in jail or prison you might want to speak to your probation officer about treatment.
