NOOOO!!!!! if harry is meant to die, let him die. the story will be fine. it has been thus far. the prophecy could be tell us that both Voldemort AND Harry may die. But I do no think the public should get involved. J.K. is a smart lady which is why there are so many fans. |

I hate to break this to you, but Harry Potter is a work of fiction. The author can choose to do what she wants with her characters. It will be sad, but not the end of the world. After all, she's not actually killing Daniel Radcliff. |

She didn't say that!! she said 2 characters are going to die she didn't say which ones and its her book shes the author i don't blame her i wouldn't want anyone else talking over my story its her choice every good thing must end sometime Get Over It |

Harry Potter is a fictional character. He could be reborn thru magic or what about prequils. As long as you buy there will be a Harry Potter. |

Get a life, it is only a book, the author wants to move on, and who knows it might be a better thing. |

Who's Harry Pottor? Did you mean Potter?
It's a tragedy. So Harry Potter should die. It will make him more of a hero! |

I have not seen that she said Harry would be one of thsoe killed; only that 2 people die in the last book. I'm guessing Voldermort is one of them.....maybe that little Weasley will be the other...j/k |

how many books are there in harry potter? 9? 12? If she wants to end that series by all means let her. It wouldn't be that bad, she'd probably start another series.
Honestly if she kills off harry potter the world would not end. |

get a grip on reality! JK Rowling has not said that Harry will die in the last book, she said she understood the reasoning for authors to kill off their characters in the last books, but not that she was going to do so.
And even if she did decide to have Harry die in the last book, that really is her choice. Harry is, after all, her invention, her character to do with as she wants. If she does have Harry die in the last book, you will still be able to go on with life as we know it, your world will not cease to exist. If the story of Harry Potter has such a effect on your life that it will be permanently marred by the "death" of this literary character, then perhaps you should seek some counseling, because your life would seem to be to wrapped up in this character/book/movie. |

They did not actually say harry will die they said that 2 main charecters voldemort and somebody ellse maybe they will both die and she said it would happen in the last book probably the last page the story couldn'tyt go on without harry poter its even called harry potre unless they change the title to Ron Weasly |

there are numerous instances in great pieces of fictional literature where the hero is killed off, take the bible for instance. |

it's the very last book, who cares how the story will go on she won't be writting it anymore |

How do you know that? Maybe it's not true. Harry Potter is the main character and she wouldnt dare kill him, it wouldnt make sense. I doubt it's true and if Rowling actually said that then I'd put it off as something to distract. I dont think shes going to kill Harry Potter. |
