Is your question about weather you can board a plane as a minor, and go to the Phillipines? If there are family arangements in place yes this shouldnt be a problem. My GFs sister flew alone from Indonesia to meet her in canada at 12. It happens all the time when parents establish themselves in other countries and send back for the children.

???? PROOF? What's wrong with you? If your parents are okay with the move...AND...want to give you money, where's the problem??

gomanyes562
No, it's not illegal as long as your parents agree.

freesumpin
No, it's NOT against the law to get a great education here.
We need 'smarter' people like you in the world!

With your parents permission, nothing is illegal in the United States, especially if they are allowing you to live with your family somewhere else.

I think you can go with your parents' written permission, if that's what your're asking. They shouldn't keep you from going if your parents aren't accompanying you. I don't have proof though, maybe call the airline?

wooooohooooo
huh? why would it be against the law? as long as ur parents r ok with it.no pb.u jsut need to get them sign some stuff .

If your parents approve it, it's no problem. If they say no and you go, it's a problem. They are you guardians until you reach the age of majority.

Why would it be against the law? Also, the Philippines isn't exactly the safest place on earth right now. Muslim terrorism and a recent presidential coup attempt.

I studied in London and it was safer and the food was really good. haha

just wondering y do u want to this?
The Phillippines education isn't nearly as good, as the US or Canada...whereever you're from. You'd autally want to leave you're family? Wow, I'm almost 15 and I couldn't leave my parents and my brother...that'd be awful...really think about this...what about your friends?

i don't got proof but it should be legal

Are We Human Or Are We Dancer?
I dont think so... this is my opinion.... if someone has a guardian, they can go. I don't think its against the law if you have a passport. That's what its for right?

Are your parents really opposed to your going to the Phillipines for school, or are they *just* not coming with you? If they are seriously opposed, then I think, yes, it is illegal. If your parents aren't seriously opposed, just can't come for whatever reason, then it's perfectly legal. But it your parents are opposed, then it's running away.

If your parents are opposed but you are willing to go against their wishes, just don't want to get in trouble, I'm sure you could find out a way to get to the Phillipines without being stopped-it's possible. ;-)

If they are sending you to other family members in the Philippines it should be fine. They are your parents and they can choose as long as it isn't illegal.

Minors in America can't do ANYTHING on their own WITHOUT parental or legal guardian consent.

Tag--you're a minor!! By time you're 17, you'll gain certain freedoms--NOT all of them. That doesn't happen till you reach 21.

Then there's the Phillipine Government: They may have laws demanding written consent by BOTH parents and your relatives be signed and notorized (have your shiny credit card out for this one, kiddo!) by Phillipine seal.

And with that all put aside, you can enter the Phillipines and go to school (God only knows why you want to do this). Might be wise to get to know your U.S. Embassy administrators there.....just to be safe.

Where are you currently living?

all you need is parent concent....

sorry i cant find much evidence but,
your education is your own decision
phillipines isnt that big on laws, as long as they can have your money
why phillipines? unless its a nice, clean, private, really secluded school

and my question, are you running away from home or something? if so, maybe run somewere else

As long as your parents are footing the bill they can tell you what to do, how to do it, and when to do it. When you are out and supporting yourself for a few years or so you will begin to understand why your parents did as they did. When you begin to approach 50 you will finallly realize that your parents were a lot smarter than you gave them credit for being.

Probably not, but it's a bad idea.
