Rape of a child, do you think it deserves capital punishment?

No, I don't. I believe that child molesters, paedophiles, should be caught and put in prison for the rest of their lives ... and that their lives should be 'artificially prolonged' so that they have time to 'contemplate their crime' ... perhaps they will 'repent' but they should still be locked up and kept alive as long as possible ... so they can be 'studied' so that perhaps someday this crime won't happen anymore, and to keep them from the 'total forgiveness' of God for as long as possible. Killing them sooner would just be 'rewarding them' because God is 'outside of time and space' and even being in 'Hell for Eternity' is only TEMPORARY ...

hmmm... interesting.. im not sure that death is the right punishment... i think rape of a child is horrible! you have pretty much taken a childs livelyhood away and scarred them for life! i believe they deserve extreme punishment! maybe be castrated and forced to be raped everyday in their prison cell.

I don't know about death but it deserves worse then they give out now. Maybe then people would take it seriously and stop the violence against children.

nah, send him to jail and the prisoners will deal with him, saving the taxpayers millions. killing someone legally is a lengthy and costly process. it actually costs more to execute someone than it does to imprison them for life. some C/O will just tell the other prisoners what he's in for and it's over.

i think anybody who rapes a child should have inflicted upon them exactly what they inflicted upon that poor innocent child, they should then be left to die for what they have done. no lethal injection, no electric chair, that would be over too quickly for them and they will never have to think about their actions again, whereas the poor child will be left to try and overcome the indecency that was force upon them forever.

Put that person in the hard core prison. The prisoners don't like child rapists there and their normal sentence will turn into a death sentence. They don't like child molesters in prison.

Anyone who fiddles with kids is sick in the head and deserves to rot in hell. Not sure about the death penalty as that's an easy way out in my view. The treatment they get from other prisoners is much worse. I've heard that once they find out their crime the other prisoners torture them, like boiling oil or syrup and pouring it on them which is very painful and scars.

they already going to hell... i do think that they should be tourtured in the worst way, to make them think about what they did , because if they are put to death they may not regret it, but if they are put in the victims situation, then they will really know for themselves how WRONG they were
