Can you receive child support payment from an individual receiving disability payment. The reason Im asking this because my ex boyfriend was injured on the job and this is his only source of income.

The obligation continues until/unless the order is changed by the court. If he is unable to make the payments because of his disability, he can apply to get the payments reduced temporarily or permanently, depending upon the nature of his disability and if he is completely unable to work. |

You can get a judgment for it. Whether you can collect it now depends upon a formula. But unpaid child support will continue to accrue, so you should apply for it. Maybe his Aunt Tillie will leave him some money and your child can benefit then.

You would need to contact your case manager at child support to see what you can do, make have to file a motion in family court |

Yes. Being disabled does not absolve you of your child support obligation.
If he is getting permanent disability from SS based on his work history and contributions,he can get dependent benefits for his children from SS. |
