I recently got a Reckless driving ticket In Peachtree City Georgia. Now this city is special considering it has a network of golf cart paths of 90 miles that go through the city. I was driving through a park with my friend. ( I was taking him home)This was when i was trying to entertain both him and I and tried to drift. I crashed my golf cart on the side, giving my friend some deep scratches. Well of course the authorities were contacted he went to the hospital and i was given a reckless driving ticket. Now heres the thing My friends 100 % back in shape but neither we or they have any insurance and his parents want my family to pay the hospital and ambulance fees. My golfcart got banged up and i had to replace a tire. The juvenile court wants me to pay a 1000$ ticket. I was 15 at the time ( which is the legal age for golf cart driving), This is my first offense, and my family has been hit hard by the recession. Is there anything i can do other than pay the fine? I would glady work community service or something....

You can see if the Judge would authorize the community service. Usually they will. As with the guys injury, you will be responsible for that in civil court and will likely be requried to pay all his medical expenses and possibly pain and suffering. |

You need an Attorney.
I recommend that you contact at least 3 or 4 Attorneys who have a great deal of experience defending traffic accidents and traffic tickets.
Ask the Attorneys if they will set up a payment plan for you.
Hire the Attorney that you think is best for your case. |
