As long as you have completed your contract, give proper notice and have not damaged the unit you should receive your deposit back.
Proper notice may not be simply 30 days. In Washington for example the requirement is 20 days before the next rent is due. SO if you give notice on the 15th with intent to leave by the next 15th you would not have given proper notice as it would have to be given by the 10th. |
