so im 15 and i was caught steeling 30 dollars worth of stuff and i wasn't arrested or anything but they told i have to go to court and pay a fine. can someone tell me how much is the fine and if there is a way to get out of it?

Not being "arrested" does not mean your not facing criminal charges! In fact if your going to court you are!! You need an Attorney and should discuss options like Diversion so your record can remain clean (if it is). You have two fines to worry about. Court fine and Civil Demand combined expect them to be near or over $1000.00. You can also visit this forum site filled with experts in this area. well im a cop and i can tell you since your a juvenile thats why u were not arrested. but yes u got to go to juvenile court and pay a fine or possibly community service. |

no one can tell you what fines you'll have to pay.At your age if this is your first offense you will be put on probation.However,you will have to perform community service.Please put a stop to it. |
