Look at the slippery slope your question creates.
You draw a line between forgetting to use protection, and using protection and it failing. So, how do you prove one versus the other?
If abortion is outlawed based on one limited factual situation, but allowed under something very similar, especially where it's impossible to prove one versus the other, people will say what they need to conform with the required phrasing. |

I am personally against abortion but I believe in the women's choice. However, to all you folks that say "I have a dream to pursue", what about the father? Does the father have the right to have "HIS" baby aborted? If not, does he still have the "Obligation" to financially support the baby against his will. I think abortion should be a two person choice. If the male wants the baby and the woman doesn't--then give him custody, and the female doesn't owe anything. If the reverse is true, then the male shouldn't be held accountable either. What's fair is fair. |

You can't legislate on that. How could you prove that a person had "forgotten to use protection"? It would be easy to say that the condom broke or something. How would you prove otherwise.
As for abortion being illegal, yeah great if you want to go back to the days of women commiting suicide because they are pregnant or dying on the tables of backstreet abortionists with their dirty knives and knitting needles. Or doing it themselves with paraffin douches and crochet hooks.
Women have been having abortions for thousands of years before it was ever "legal" or medically managed and they will carry on doing so. The advantage of it being legal is that they can have abortions done in safe medically controlled enviroments. |

that is a tough debate but here is my opinion
you have 2 options in this situation
1. abort , maybe the baby will have 5 seconds of pain , which i don't believe because a brain hasn't been formed ( of course i am not a doctor )
or
2. have the child and make it suffer for life with abuse , neglect , malnutriton , ect... |

I believe a woman has a right to choose. On what goes into making that choice, is personal, but they still have that right what they can and can't do with their body. I would hope that they get a vast amount of education and options and really weigh each and every one before making that choice...... I believe it is every womans right to Pro Choice. |
