The governments only reason to ban these drugs is to make money and have control over their people. The biggest supporters of the War On Drugs campaign are the cigarette and alcohol companies.
They have taken away the ability for people to legally carry out their own traditional rituals that have been practiced for centuries.
And with so many non-violent, recreational drug offenders in jail...
Why isn't this seen as wrong?

Yes I do support the legalization of soft and natural drugs...
Look at places like the Netherlands. Their government tolerates drugs and their people have not created synthetic, easy to make drugs that KILL people. Marijuana and Magic Mushrooms both have no records of being the direct cause of death. Like alcohol, they can make people do some crazy stuff, but they do not 'ruin' lives in retrospect. Like alcohol, if you do it too much, it'll turn you into an *** - but it's legal... so why not shrooms and weed too?

I think weed should be legalized. If it was and the government taxed it like cigarettes, we would be out of this recession in a week! The economy would be booming. By the way, I do not smoke weed.
And just something to think about...if you doesn't kill, its illegal. Soda, cigarettes, junk food, fast food, alcohol,vaccines,prescription drugs- They are all legal and kill you. Weed doesnt kill you and is illegal. Natural herbs for medicinal use that other countries use are not illegal but the government does not let you know about them and neither do doctors. If they did, drug companies and politicans would not be profiting. Drug companies profit off of your suffering. The more prescriptions you take, the more problems you will have later in life. And guess what, to fix them you need prescription drugs, which cause more problems. See a profiting cycle? People smoke cigarettes and people profit. They go to the heart surgeon who makes tons of money and prescribes drugs which drug companies profit on. Does weed put you in the hosptial? NO! |

idk. However, i do wanna try magic mushrooms. the high lasts like 13 hours and it is one of those drugs that dont completely destroy you. no harm dun unless you go overboard with it. |

I've done all sorts of drugs, and by my experience with other druggies I've learned that none of these drugs should be legalized.
Why? These are 'soft drugs' and are considered safe to many (including myself). If they become legalized, drug dealers are going to have to move on to harder drugs and more dangerous drugs to sell, and they WILL sell! And that is the problem. If marijuana, shrooms, and lsd become legalized, there will be more people using harder drugs like cocaine, heroine, and ecstasy.
This is why these drugs should not be legalized.
Also, if you do these drugs, and have a nice place to do them - and have a trusty dealer - then what's the point of getting it legalized? You already have everything you need. You learn a lot in college :). |
