I don't mind it being legal, I around a lot of people who smoke it, and I'm sometimes there when they do, and it doesn't bother me. I just think it needs to be controled carefully.

As long as I AM NOT affecting anyboby with the things I choose to do, then why the hell does the government have the right to tell me what I can put into my body? Marijuana should be legalized and regulated similar to cigarettes and alcohol. I have tried it, but I have not smoked pot in years.

no i havent tried it but research says that marijuana is a drug that damages your health and it makes you high...and i really do think its illegal

I've been smoking it for 35 yrs. and yes it should be.There are thousands of reasons why.
The only reason why not is the cops would have to go out and catch real crooks not kids smoking a J!!

No, we need it to stabilize the soil. Hemp use to be called ditch weed because its roots are wide and deep so the farmers planted it in ditches and along their properties. It helped prevent erosion and gave the birds that eat bugs something to eat besides their grains. Hemp will help us to protect our waterways from agricultural erosion and the contamination from agricultural chemicals.

I have tried marijuana and I respect the effect it has on me. I would not use marijuana and then jump in my car and drive off. I wouldn't do this with booze either. They both act in similar ways and should be treated the same. And, if one is allowed to be legal for adults, we should also allow the other to be legal and with the same restrictions.

There must be a realistic discussion on the side effects of this drug and yes, it is a drug. It is an effective antidepressant but the normal joint is an over dose for one person. If it affects your ability to function (stoned), you have overdosed.

Sort of... They should have Pot Houses, where people can legally smoke pot. Because it can lead to accidents if used irresponsibly, but if used properly, it can be hella fun. Pot is one of the only drugs that doesn't trash your mind. In fact, it's actually healthy. But it does impare short term judgment. So yeah, if supervised, it's worth it.

Oh, I see your logic. Nope, haven't tried it, and yes, it should be illegal. I haven't tried suicide either, but that doesn't mean I should not have an opinion about it.
