well my thought is (not being a pot smoker, and never have) is:
Yes in a simple answer.
See we waste so much money and police power to bust pot smugglers and all that crap. Why not make it legal and make a buck off of it? say people age 18 or over (like cigarettes could buy it, let the government produce it just like they do tobacco).
Pot in my opinion (not smoking it myself) is quite harmless as long as the people ain't getting behind the wheel of a car. I don't think it is all that bad, compared to other so called "drugs." So if they were smart they would legalize it, cut the b/s budget of busting these pot dealers and all that crap, cuz pot is the most used "recreational drug" of choice in the US.. So why not just legalize it? |

i don't smoke, but legalizing it would definitely help the economy since most people who smoke it don't give a crap about the law that says they can't. |

I'm not a pot-head myself, but making it illegal and wasting more police power and border control isn't going to stop it.
Having it illegal just allows those willing to risk breaking the laws to grow and sell it rich, rich people.
I don't want to drive on the road with stoned people, but I do everyday and I know it. Maybe it is time to put our money and efforts elsewhere. |

i think it is in california, my good friend had a million dollars in plants and got busted it was on the news ok, dumb. he had been selling medical marijuana . so he went to jail they made a big deal out of it held him 10 days than the case was dropped, california says yes to pot the feds say no the president says leave them alone. i think it should be legal like in amsterdam .. tax the sh!t out of it, stoners are mellow people. give them a break. |
