Possibly.
It should at least be decriminalized as it has been in the Netherlands. As with Prohibition in the 1920s, keeping the use of so-called 'soft drugs' illegal only contributes to organized crime and violence. The growth of the Mafia and certain gang-related crime can trace its roots back to Prohibition. Despite it being made an Amendment to the Constitution it was later repealed when it was agreed by all that banning alcohol created a bigger problem than allowing its sale. For similar reasons, marijuana should be decriminalized. The product could then be taxed and still actually be cheaper for the consumer. |

No it should not be legalized, regardless of the common misconception, marijauna is an addictive drug. |

It is not a question should pot be legalized in the United States. That is a federal issue. A state could thereoticly legalize pot. But the US government gets involved in interstate commerce clause. So the only way pot could be legalized in a state is if it was grown, distrubated, and used in that state. it could not cross any borders. because once it does cross borders it becomes a federal issue.
PS. I drink beer. I don't smoke weed! |

yes. all drugs should. majuana, for medical purposes. other drugs, for recreational use. then all the scum drug dealers would be out of business (cos you should only be able to get them from chemist) and also the prices would come down........if only (sigh) |

The only way Marijuana will be legal in all 50 states is for doctor ordered it for people that have had problems that medican cant help them with. I have read alot of that on the net. There alot of states doing that now with doctor orders. |

Yes, and grown in NC to help the ailing tobacco farmers. Then the finished product should be taxed like theres no tomorrow. Two benifits: more income to cover Government, Inc. and less spending on pot law enforcement.
P.S. I dont smoke... its stupid to purposely hurt yourself. |
