I think not. The decision to have an abortion is huge. It shouldn't be taken lightly. And a minor girl is not responsible or mature enough to make that decision on her own. I think minors should have to go to counseling, and have parental consent.
There has to be a happy medium between abortion-on-demand and abortion being illegal.

i think the answer is no. her parents should know because she will have emotional changes and physical changes going on in her life that her parents have to help her with. hopefully she has good parents if not a relative or someone close to that child has to help her because she is still a kid. So NO. |

Some people would disagree with this, as they were under age in the first place, and they're parents have a right to know weather they're going to have an abortion or not. Some would say the child does not have the right to do this by herself, if what she did isn't legal to begin with. Also, the minor aged child won't have the right sight of mind to know what she wants to do, after all, the parent knows best.
Some people would agree with this, as the minor aged child got herself into this mess and she can get herself out of it. She got herself pregnant without her parents knowing, and now she can get rid of it without her parents knowing.
In my opinion, I believe that the girl should definitely have parental consent before she gets an abortion because she doesn't know what she wants. It wasn't legal for her to get pregnant in the first place. Also, the girl isn't necessarily the one to decide, it's not just her baby, it's also the fathers responsibility. His parents should be informed about this decision too.

No. Any surgical procedure, any act of giving medication should be by parents consent. It might be her body, but her parents own it while she is a minor. The child she is killing is not her her body. |

If they can pay for the medical procedure somehow then I guess they shouldn't have to have parental consent. I don't agree to them not needing it, but look at the amount it will be cut down in that they still have to pay. |

shes gets to chose about it, thats how it works, even if shes 5. It her child, which gives her he right to choose. this is a desicsioun she must make for herselfe...and if the parentssay no, she has the right....its not their desicioun anymore!
