I mean people who have been convicted and served their sentance, and people who have commited serious crimes, or a series of petty crimes (and show no signs of stopping).
I sympathise with genuine asylum seekers who would have been at risk in their own country for whatever reason, and i think they get a rough deal here, but lets not go into that as its a topic in itself.
But i have to say i think that anyone who is an immigrant of whatever status should be deported after they serve their sentance here, with no court case and no right to appeal if they have commited a serious crime. Why should we keep them when they have abused the country they have sought refuge from?
Where i live, an HIV+ asylum seeker who had gained refugee status bit the ear of a police man and is being allowed to stay. He said he was thrown forward when the car breaked!! Yeah right!! He should be booted out, no court case, no questions!

yes definitely-id dearly love to live in australia and hopefully will one day but if i then committed a crime of course id expect to be thrown back home-these people are not safe back home?? well id rather know we were safe in our own country |

Absolutely. I don't know of any other country that takes this ridiculous view of human rights....all these people should lose any human rights they have the minute that they commit a crime. It costs a fortune to keep them in jail and they are a carbuncle on society. Get rid of them immediately and tattoo them on the way out so that they can never return!

There are exceptions. But, in general, I agree with you. I often say to my wife that we have too many "do gooders" here declaring right this and right that. What about our rights? |

Our laws seem to favour the guilty.If people can`t live by the rules of society then they should be denied the protection of that society.Send the offenders back to where they came from. |

Definitely. Why should taxpayers money pay to keep them in our already overcrowded prisons? It would appear Human Rights apply only to immigrants and miscreants, whilst two elderly Sisters risk losing their home when one dies because they won't have the same rights to inherit as gays. Ludicrous. |

The answer is yes.
But that means that we should accept British subjects when they have finished their sentences in a foreign land.
It’s only 6-7 weeks ago when a convicted British paedophile was returned to the UK after serving his sentence in Australia. People didn’t seem to keen for him to be returned to the UK (understandably).
But an agreement cuts both ways. |

No crimanal should be allowed in as an immigrant, and a immigrant should be thrown out if he commits a crime. But all they have to do before the stupids that judge their case, is to claim that they will be killed if sent back. And our buffoons believe it allowing them to stay. I sometime wonder at the speed at which common sense in the UK's powerws that be disappeared. It is but natural to conclude that there are no particular standards of IQ required to join politics or become bureaucrats in the UK. |
