This is not as bad as it sounds. Throughout history, prisoners were tortured, abused, sent off to isolated islands, and other extreme treatment.

Indecency in history should hardly excuse, or used as an argument to allow, unconscionable behavior.
And also that pesky eighth amendment.
And, what of the ones who are innocent? You put too much faith in the justice system to be infallible.
Such a thing would likely just be the beginning of a slippery slope. The Zimbardo experiment should be a strong warning against lowering the standards of decency for those incarcerated. |

If they agree I suppose it is ok. People who haven't committed any crimes have medical testing all the time for money for cookies and juice or giftcards. So why should prisoners be any different. I don't know where they would spend their gift cards. Their local commisary maybe, |
