Yes....In countries where everyone is armed their is little crime. Israel for one. More guns less crime. Cities that have started issuing gun permits have found their crime drops.

I support it. It's a statistically proven fact that areas with looser gun control laws have far lower crime rates than areas with stricter gun control laws.

After all, making it harder for law abiding citizens to buy a pistol or shotgun has no effect on the criminal buying an automatic AK-47 on the street illegally.

I own guns. Think everyone that desires to own a gun is not a criminal and has the aptitude to use a gun safely should have that right. But to require every head of household to own a gun is stupid. This is America all I am required to do is **** and pay taxes, I will decide what I choose to own not you.

I doubt you'd find the Supreme Court seeing your side of the story. You have the right to own a gun, but that doesn't work the opposite way where you have to own a gun. All that would do is put an unduly burden on the people, there are some things where you can force people to have, such as owning insurance in order to drive that benefit society as a whole. I can see the whole thing where everyone would be armed and then too scared to rob (but realistically you can't say this for sure), but that was in one place. It's not a good enough example. Plus there are also parents who worry about their children accidentally hurting themselves or others.

Very nice idea. Have you ever stopped to think why the US isn't invaded. Perhaps it's because other nations know that some Americans are armed and can fight back. What if those citizens were disarmed? Would the possibility of invasion grow? Just a thought.
